Bean's Creek is centrally located in East Texas. Just 40 miles from Tyler, 4 miles from Rusk and 40 miles from Nacogdoches, it's at the historic center of East Texas. The Texas State Railroad is only 3 miles away. In downtown Rusk, antique and specialty stores surround a picturesque town square. The longest footbridge in the world is one block off the square as is the Heritage Center of Cherokee County. Cherokee County is famous for its produce markets and greenhouses which are open to visitors most of the year. Two race tracks are located in Rusk and an offroad ATV park is 11 miles south in Alto. The Ranch itself is located on CR 2103 south of the Oakland General Store which is an attraction itself. David will get you fixed up with minnows, worms, food and gas. Maydelle Country Winery is 5 miles away and is an award winning small winery...only one of two in deep East Texas. The terrain surrounding the ranch is hilly and the views are lovely. Bicycling around the country roads and through the forests is an adventure for mountain bikers.
